The Role
As a Retail Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for planning and executing the education plan within makeup, skincare, and fragrances based on the company’s strategy and needs in major retailers like Fredrik & Louisa, Kicks, and more. You will be responsible for building knowledge among generic staff, Make-Up Artists and Beauty Advisors on key categories and hero products in the relevant brands for the stores and country. You will play a vital role in achieving budget targets by empowering generic staff to consistently deliver strong performance with or without direct in-store supervision.
You will report to the District Training Manager and be part of a Retail Sales Trainer team. Additionally, you will collaborate with the District Manager and Retail Sales Executive to support education initiatives and elevate in-store execution.
Your Key Responsibilities
More Specifically you will
- Plan and Deliver Training: Represent strong category & product expertise and high technical skills. Provide education to staff across Norway, focusing on makeup, skincare, fragrance, and customer service.
- Execute Education Programs: Conduct training on sales techniques, product knowledge, services and coaching in-store, in classroom or via digital channels for own and generic staff
- Enhance Sales & Consumer Experience: Equip sales teams with the skills to drive performance and engagement.
- Build Strong Relationships: Collaborate closely with Retail Sales Trainers, District Training Manager, District Manager & Retail Sales Executives to elevate the competences of each of our own staff and generic staff
Your Qualifications
- At least 1 year in retail education or management experience, ideally in beauty
- Strong background in make-up, skincare, fragrance & storytelling
- If you have past trainer experience, we consider this as a plus!
- Experience in sales, training and development
- Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and with remote management
- Experience using PC, Outlook, Power point, Power BI, Excel
- Driver’s license is required
- Able to travel up to 30% of the time based on business needs
- You speak Norwegian & English fluently and are based in Bergen
