The Global Educator, Professional Hair and Scalp will lead and advance Aveda's professional education strategy across Hair Color, Scalp Health, and Professional Hair Treatment Solutions. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering innovative education programs that bring the professional perspective to life while reflecting Aveda's commitment to sustainability, wellness, and high-performance, plant-powered care.
Serving as a key connection between Product Development, Innovation, Marketing, and the professional community, this position plays a critical role throughout the innovation journey—from concept and prototype development through launch and adoption. By providing technical expertise in hair color formulation, scalp wellness, and targeted treatment solutions, this leader helps ensure products and services meet the needs of salon professionals and guests while supporting global education excellence.
Through the development of compelling education, technical resources, and professional consultation, this role inspires confidence, drives product and service adoption, supports successful launches, and fosters consistent, high-quality experiences across markets. The position strengthens Aveda's leadership in professional hair color, scalp care, and hair wellness while empowering stylists to deliver transformative results for their guests.

Qualifications
- Advanced technical expertise in professional hair color, including formulation, color correction, gray coverage, dimensional color, and modern application techniques.
- Strong knowledge of scalp health, treatment solutions, with an understanding of how services support long-term hair integrity and guest outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering professional education programs, curriculum, and learning experiences for salon professionals and educators.
- Deep understanding of professional hair color technology, ingredient science, and high-performance botanical formulations, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging education.
- Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire diverse audiences ranging from salon professionals to executive stakeholders.
- Skilled at building collaborative partnerships with Product Development, Marketing, Innovation, Education teams, and industry experts to drive successful business outcomes.
- Strong strategic thinking and project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support education programs, product launches, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Passion for Aveda's mission and values, including sustainability, wellness, artistry, and high-performance plant-powered beauty.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create impactful presentations, analyze data, and communicate business insights.
Pay Range:
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $80,000.00 to $105,000.00. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
