Material Handlers perform any of the required functions in the warehouse to ensure that all daily requirements are met. Activities include supplying assembly and filling lines with components and transfer finished goods out of production.

Material Handlers are expected to perform material handling activities in a manner consistent with manufacturing department's goals and objectives, while adhering to workplace safety policies and procedures. Position Responsibilities:

•For the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse areas.
•Operate Powered Industrial Trucks including: Sit-down forklift, Tank Mover, Drexel, Swing Reach, and Rider Pallet Jacks.
•Load and unload trailers with components, raw materials, and finished goods.
•Process customer orders, cycle count, and do bin to bin transactions with SAP.
•Able to verify accuracy of materials needed to materials picked in timely manner.
•Adhere to trained work instructions and follow standard operating procedures.
•Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse.
•Adhere and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
•Maintain a clean safe work environment including general housekeeping.
•Assist processing recycled materials, use compactors, and pallet management.

    Qualifications

    ⁃ Education: High school diploma or equivalent

    ⁃ Experience: Some experience in general warehouse environment preferred

    ⁃ Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate Basic Microsoft Windows Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)

    ⁃ Effective communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing.

    ⁃ Mechanical Aptitude

    ⁃ Medium physical effort required

    ⁃ Lifting 50 lbs. maximum and frequently lifting and carry up to 35 lbs.

    ⁃ Ability to stand for several hours daily.

    Pay Range:

    The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18.75 to $32.75. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
