Description
Job Functions:
Responsible for PA1/PA2 shipping dock operations. In terms of employee training, daily output, shipment accuracy, and shipment quality to meet daily shipping targets across all retailer orders and stock transfer orders.
Accountabilities:
(tasks listed below may vary depending upon assigned location)
- Assigns employees to shipments.
- Ensure team members are able to hit productivity goals, escalate to supervisor if needed.
- Prioritize and delegate workload based on daily pickup times.
- Train new employees on safety procedures and departmental work instructions
- Inspect and audit shipments for accuracy, content and specifications utilizing systems where appropriate.
- Provides a quality standard for order handlers, outbound coordinators, and material handlers to use as a guideline for product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolves shipment discrepancies, escalating to supervisor as needed.
- Assist supervisor with random audits. Documents results.
- Evaluates process/product through required inspections to ensure conformity to standardized process specifications and quality standards. Documents results.
- Assists supervisor in Root Cause analysis of Quality/Accuracy issues and recommends corrective action. May assist with any recommended re-training.
- Performs a variety of clerical functions including record keeping, reporting and daily performance recaps to management. Input information into computer system.
- Follows all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).
- Performs various other duties as assigned
- Assist with leading daily team meetings - Communicating safety moments, wellness moment, and shift expectations.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
- Good communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing. Basic knowledge of arithmetic.
- For Shipping, minimum of one-year Quality Coordinator, Distribution, or Process Coordinator experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must demonstrate leadership ability.
- Ability to navigate in computer systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet & Intranet.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Must be available to work all shifts.
- Must be available to work in all Northtec facilities as needed.
- May require a criminal background check.

Pay Range:
Anticipated Base Salary Range $19.75 to $33.50 (Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget), based on a 40 hour work week (range to be scaled accordingly).
