Supply Chain Analytics Team Lead
for our global team in Budapest
The Role:
The Supply Chain Analytics Team Lead supports strategic decision-making by managing relationships with Executive Directors and Directors and partnering with the Planning COE in EMEA to develop analytics tools for Supply Chain Planning, Material Management, and TPM.
This role leads medium- to low-complexity analytics projects, prepares insights for leadership, and ensures timely delivery of initiatives. Responsibilities include developing interactive dashboards, streamlining global reporting, and delivering actionable insights to enhance forecasting and performance tracking.
The team lead ensures KPI excellence, collaborates with IT and data governance to maintain data integrity, and drives continuous improvement through automation and best practices. By leveraging advanced analytics and visualization, this role transforms data into impactful insights that address business risks and opportunities across brands and regions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare updates and insights, ensuring clear communication of project progress, key findings, risks, and strategic recommendations to business leaders, including Executive Directors and Directors.
- Lead and execute Medium to Low-complexity analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, driving measurable impact, and delivering data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure timely development and deployment of projects, proactively addressing risks, dependencies, and technical challenges to meet agreed timelines.
- Develop and implement data visualization and interactive tools, ensuring accessibility, usability, and impactful storytelling to support decision-making at all organizational levels.
- Deliver actionable insights and visibility to support business decisions, leveraging advanced analytics techniques to enhance forecasting, performance tracking, and strategic planning.
- Streamline global reporting and analytics processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and automation of key reports and dashboards.
- Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are delivered with excellence, meeting or exceeding standards for timeliness, accuracy, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and throughput.
- Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to establish and maintain a single source of truth, ensuring data integrity, standardization, and accessibility.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and capacity creation, both internally and externally, by leveraging automation, process optimization, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance policies, maintaining high standards for data management and reporting practices.
- Manage a team including Sr. Data Analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical oversight.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar analytical or technical role.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, DAX, and Power Apps.
- Strong data processing and analytical skills with the ability to structure models, conduct logical analysis, and manage complex datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business insights into clear, visually compelling analytics.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a service-oriented approach.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to understand stakeholder needs and tailor solutions to diverse audiences.
