The E-Merchandiser will have as a core mission to ensure the flawless execution of our brand portfolio across e-retail platforms by enriching and optimizing product pages, brand spaces, and digital assets. He/She will play a critical role in elevating the online consumer experience, supporting sell-out performance, and maintaining brand image across digital touchpoints. Reporting to the E-Key Account Manager, he/she will collaborate closely with the catalog, content, marketing, and key account teams.
Key Responsibilities
1) Operational Management of E-Retail Activities
- Manage the creation, upload, and optimization of product detail pages (PDPs) & coordinate with regional & local marketing teams for filling-in the PIM for new product launches.
- Ensure PIM compliance as needed and new launches are pushed on time to all retailers via matrix or GDSN.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and SEO-optimization of texts, visuals, videos, and tags.
- Enhance brand value across all approved retailer websites through e-merchandising, updates, and enrichment of brand spaces using web assets like banners, content pages, etc.
- Ensure brand image consistency on distributor websites, identifying and tracking potential bugs with clients.
- Ensure perfect execution of launch campaigns on retailer websites.
- Ensure promotional updates and seasonal campaigns are implemented correctly.
2) Cross functional collaboration:
- Act as a linguistic support for fellow e-merchandisers when working on retailers that require content in a language they do not speak (e.g. a Dutch/German speaker assisting with local copy for a dutch retailer, french speaker assisting for a french player).
- Collaborate with the Pure Player& E-pharma team by assisting with product creation in the PIM system and providing language-related support when needed (e.g. translating banners or marketing assets).
- Collaborate with marketing & commercial team on the new product launches and roadmaps.
3) E-retail Activities monitoring:
- Manage and track product highlights on e-retail sites to enhance customer experience (content improvement, SEO strategy, review campaigns, cross-selling).
- KPIs monitoring (add-to-cart rate, conversion rate, sales, page views, etc.).
- Support the E-retail lead with category-specific insights
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in e-commerce or e-retail.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Ideally, knowledge of PIM (Product Information Management) and GDSN tools.
- Very good command of collaboration tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional projects with marketing, catalog, content, and key account teams.
- Rigorous and detail-oriented to ensure content quality and consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Autonomous and proactive, particularly in identifying opportunities for optimization. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation purposes.
- Fluent in Dutch, English, French.
