Merchandizer - Clinique

Description

As a Merchandiser for Clinique you are responsible for the brand image in stores through store design as well as permanent updates and new launches. You will work closely with both suppliers and retailers to makes sure to support the promotion of specific products and services by implementing POS material in the field while respecting the allocated budget. 

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop and implement all visual branding of the brand in-store throughout the Benelux (permanent updates, new launches, POS material, planograms).
• Develop an omni-retail approach
• Participate to the elaboration of the merchandising plans, in accordance with the global marketing strategy. You will be in charge of the execution of this plan and will work in close collaboration with the Product Manager and Trade Executive.
• Ensure the coordination between all parties (both internal and external) to optimize the implementation of the merchandising guidelines.
• Lead and coordinate in-store design projects with all stakeholders: international offices, retailers, shopfitters, sales team.
• Draw up the budget and keep costs within the allocated budget
• Check monthly expenditures and explain variances versus budget

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in a marketing-related field
• Passion for visual merchandising & sense of aesthetics
• Detail-oriented and multitasker (coordinate multiple stakeholders + retro planning)
• Working experience in the cosmetics & beauty products and/or the luxury industry is a big plus
• Excellent level of Dutch and English (spoken and written), French is an asset
• Entrepreneurial spirit, autonomous & team-player
• Hands-on approach & solution driven (you can expect the unexpected)
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
