About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Visual Merchandising Executive to join our Middle East team in Dubai on a temporary/ project basis. This role is pivotal in delivering world-class visual merchandising execution across our retail network, ensuring brand consistency, commercial excellence and an elevated consumer journey in-store.

You will work closely with Brand, Retail and regional teams to bring global guidelines to life through localized, high-impact visual solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising & Execution

  • Develop layout and promotional VM guidelines in line with Brand direction and cascade to Retail Partners and Field Teams.
  • Ensure excellence in execution through VM checklists, regular store visits, and timely feedback.
  • Support key door openings, new store and counter launches in coordination with Store Development and external stakeholders.
  • Lead VM training sessions to coach and develop Retail Partners and store teams.
  • Maintain strong alignment with Brand Marketing Calendars and VM briefs.
  • Adapt global assets, prepare simulations, and seek Brand approvals prior to execution.
  • Manage planograms, adapting for different store concepts and local requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all VM-related topics for stores and Retail Partners.

Windows, Graphics & In-store Experience

  • Deliver impactful window displays, graphics, layouts, interior signage, and localized VM adaptations.
  • Manage screen content (CMS coordination, troubleshooting, and content updates).
  • Prepare print briefs including cropping, supplier bidding, proofing, installation planning, and quality control.

Reporting, Budget & Operations

  • Analyze sales and merchandising reports to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage VM OPEX budget, tendering, accruals, and financial reporting in collaboration with Finance.
  • Maintain VM status reports, RAG reports, and weekly updates to Brand and Retail teams.
  • Track, audit, and manage VM collateral, tools, visuals, screens, and warehouse inventory.
  • Oversee ordering of loose furniture and store design hardware.
  • Handle VM administration including POs, permits, licenses, and partner coordination.
  • Manage Arabic translations ensuring message accuracy.
  • Prepare qualitative reports with images for local and EMEA stakeholders.

Qualifications

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser, ideally within the cosmetics or beauty industry
  • Strong Middle East regional experience
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • Consumer journey design
    • Windows, graphics, layouts & interior signage
    • VM localization
    • Store openings & retail environments
  • Strong understanding of current VM trends and best practices
  • Ability to interpret design drawings and apply design awareness to VM execution
  • Experience analyzing sales and merchandising reports
  • Budget management and tendering experience
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Technical Skills

  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar visual tools
