Description

This role exists to ensure compliant and consistent go-to-market execution for cosmetics marketed in China through the TR channel via Hainan DC, where regulatory and quality requirements must be consistently applied as standard market.
The position provides GTM Quality oversight, addressing quality and compliance related activities in Hainan DC, including post-market surveillance and quality risk assessment.
Operating independently and remotely from home organization from daily operations and logistics execution, the role works with cross functions including Brand, TR RA, TR Supply Chain, and 3PL to ensure alignment with company quality standards and applicable regulatory expectations. 

 

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. GTM Quality Oversight & Compliance
  • Provide GTM Quality oversight for products distributed through Hainan DC, ensuring alignment with applicable regulatory and quality requirements
  • Provide quality oversight of labeling operations and related documentation controls, ensuring compliance with CSAR and internal requirements, including content accuracy, version control, record integrity, and inspection readiness
  • Ensure retained sample management is implemented in accordance with CSAR and internal requirements, including oversight of sample picking and storage, traceability, retention periods, and availability for investigation or regulatory review
  • Support quality risk assessment and compliance evaluation in case any non-standard scenarios, escalating to China GTM Quality lead in line with governance expectations as appropriate
  • Support post-market surveillance quality activities, including review of customer (Retailers) complaints, defect trends analysis, and escalation recommendations.

 

  1. Controlled Quality Execution
  • Execute quality-controlled stock status actions (e.g. holds, blocks, release-related system transactions) in line with approved SOPs
  • Support release readiness and local quality execution for late-stage activities (e.g. locally created sets, local printing, VAS or rework activities), ensuring compliance with GMP and internal standards
  • Coordinate and ensure appropriate sampling and investigation support in cases of quality defects or non-conformances

 

  1. 3PL Partnership with Cross-functional team
  • Partner with Brand, TR Supply Chain, TR RA, and China GTM Quality to support compliant execution and issue resolution
  • Support communication and follow-up with Global QA on quality inquiries and investigations related to products stored at 3PLs

 

  1. Improvement
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to GTM Quality frameworks and guidance
  • Support small-scale projects and contribute to broader cross-functional initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Quality, Logistics, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Extensive Quality Assurance experience within cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong expertise in assessing compliance with global GMP regulations and standards, including CSAR, FDA, KFDA, Health Canada, and ISO 22716.
  • Proven ability to lead root cause investigations and drive effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership in identifying, driving, and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with Operations, Distribution, and Global Quality.
  • Experience leading and overseeing GMP audits in manufacturing and distribution environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and align internal stakeholders and external partners, including 3PLs.
  • Strong working knowledge of batch record review, SOP governance, investigations, and GMP documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic Quality Management Systems; SAP and warehouse management system experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
