Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Set vision for Consumer Experience & Service elevation for La Mer APAC across key pillars of product leadership, Spa de la Mer and Money Cannot Buy Experiences high value eventing
- Communicate and partner with Global to express APAC needs and adapt Global strategies, programs and materials to optimize for APAC
- Deliver robust education training and materials to support product heroes & NPLs to deliver on brand’s priorities, winning in Moisture, driving Derm ownership, recruiting through Watery Lotion & Eye, upgrading to Serums and Uber Luxury GDLM
- Collaborate with markets to ensure Education team has education strategy that supports the La Mer brand objectives, service standards and selling skills.
- Partner with affiliate Brand Managers, Education Managers and Commercial to support retail-driven service strategies and implement La Mer customer hypersegmentation
- Develop differentiated education programs / selling strategies to best meet the different Asian channel needs (DS, FSS, Specialty Multi, Online) in conjunction with Global Education.
- Drive Spa de la Mer strategy at the counter, cabin and HV Spa event level through service strategies, training and operations support to maximize ROI on spa initiatives
- Support and elevate La Mer Expert capabilities including selling skills, service delivery and personalized clienteling
- Systematically visits Markets in the region to assess level of execution, competencies and ability to deliver like door growth. Report findings and recommendations. Provide clear and constructive feedback to Brand Managers, Education & Commercial
- Establish and monitor appropriate KPI metrics (e.g. productivity, transactions, traffic and conversion rate, etc.) across all areas of the business, B&M, cabins, eventing
- Strengthen in-store Retail experience by partnering with the Brand Managers, Sales and Education local team.
- Systematically review local consumer insight and customer satisfaction reports with local teams to understand market specific needs and priorities.
- Collaborate with Regional Marketing & DCM on CRM strategies and deployment (retention, frequency of purchase, category analysis, etc).
- Identify & develop sales techniques and education tools to complement Global assets when needed.
- Provide support in implementing new tools and processes across the region, in particular for the deployment of digital learning platforms.
- Organize and lead annual/bi-annual regional Education meetings and Esthetician Training. Drive agenda and content with to support regional education & service strategies and guidance on excellence in execution
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
- Prior retail sales and education experience including program development and execution
- Hands-on experience in Luxury Skincare and/or Spa
- In-depth knowledge of Asian Prestige cosmetic market (channel of distribution and competition)
- Familiar with Skincare and Makeup category
- Understanding of the Asia Pacific markets, cultures and consumer dynamics
- English communication and excellent writing skills
- Ability to communicate with simplicity & inspiration, power of influence
- Possess strong people skills to develop relationships across the affiliates and region
- Creative thinking and leadership skills
- Experience in the production of written and visual materials
- Competent computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
