Regional Education Trainer, MAC NA
The Regional Education Trainer is responsible for executing core training strategies by developing service, artistry, selling, product knowledge, and leadership skills of M·A·C Artists and Managers. This role supports wholesale and retail channels through an integrated approach that includes classroom education, in-store coaching, consumer facing events and digital and social learning. Reporting to the Regional Education Executive, this role focuses on delivering high-quality education experiences while supporting regional priorities and contributing to overall education effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Education Execution & Delivery 40%
- Deliver best-in-class education across classroom, in-store, and digital platforms to support Artists, Managers, and retail teams
- Prepare and facilitate onboarding, seasonal trainings, and skill development programs (in-person and virtual)
- Lead Boot Camp and skill certification-focused workshops to drive artistry and performance outcomes
- Contribute to specialized training programs, including freelance/on-call and leadership development for Store and Retail Managers
In-Store Training & Coaching 25%
- Deliver ongoing in-store training and real-time coaching to Artists and Managers to drive excellence in service, artistry, and selling
- Partner with Field Sales and leadership to align training to business needs
- Support Store and Retail Managers with training follow-up, onboarding, and use of digital tools
- Facilitate customized workshops addressing business needs
- Conduct skill certifications through in-store observation and customer interaction
- Deliver department trainings focused on key product categories
- Reinforce classroom training through in-store learning and coaching
Events & Brand Support 15%
- Support and participate in retail events as aligned with regional priorities
- Contribute to brand initiatives including fashion weeks, marketing activations, and artist relations events
- Represent MAC through exceptional customer service, product expertise, and artistry

Digital Learning & Content Creation 5%
- Drive adoption of digital learning platforms to support ongoing education
- Create and contribute to digital learning content and tutorials to support engagement
- Partner with Digital Education teams on content creation and social learning initiatives
Regional Planning & Collaboration 5%
- Participate in regional education strategy discussions, providing insights and recommendations
- Share feedback on training effectiveness, business needs, and field insights with education leadership
- Execute Post Training Action Plans to reinforce learning and support business goals
- Maintain strong collaboration with field partners to support brand and regional objectives
Scheduling & Operational Support 10%
- Plan and manage monthly and quarterly schedules to support training priorities and business needs
- Support training logistics, including classroom facilitation, in-store support, and regional meetings
- Assist in maintaining training equipment and facilities to ensure readiness and functionality
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of experience in retail, education, or artistry within beauty or related industry
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and in-store training skills
• Demonstrated expertise in makeup artistry and product knowledge
• Experience working across retail and wholesale environments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel as needed
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,040.00 to $104,000.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
