An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Sales & Education Executive to join Travel Retail Europe, Middle East & Africa. This role will be responsible for Clinique & La Mer brands in Turkey, Greece & Cyprus. The ideal candidate should be based within Europe, with a strong preference for Istanbul, Turkey. Proficiency in the Turkish language and the English language is essential to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the region. The role will report to our Area Sales and Operations Manager, Europe. 

 

The role will be responsible for driving retail sales and the total management of the operations in across Turkey, Greece and Cyprus. This will be achieved through the recruitment, coaching, education, development and motivation of point-of-sale retail employees and the generic staff.  

 

Key missions include:

  • Overseeing a growing team of Beauty Advisors, ensuring their productivity and professional development within the shops and organization.
  • Proficient in managing relationships with retailers, including local retail partners fastly expanding in the countries, fostering strong partnerships to drive mutual success.
  • Skilled in implementing and executing branded strategies across Airports in Turkey, Greece & Cyprus, while also spearheading strategic expansion plans for additional doors.
  • Experienced in driving synergies with local market teams, fostering collaboration and alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute animations and optimize assortments to enhance customer experience and maximize sales potential. 

 

This is a particularly autonomous role requiring the selected candidate to work on their own initiative. 

Qualifications

Candidates should have a proven track record in the successful achievement of field sales targets within a luxury retail environment, with experience working in Travel Retail being a distinct benefit. It also requires a strong background in education/training and multi-site people management.

 

The successful candidate must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel frequently within the designated region to support business needs and operational objectives. Regular travel is an integral part of this role, enabling effective collaboration and field presence across multiple markets.  

 

Travel Retail is a fast paced, pressurized, entrepreneurial environment and candidates should have a positive, flexible, self-motivated and committed approach.  Excellent communication and leadership skills combined with strong commercial awareness and business acumen are required. This is a field-based role with 80% of the time spent in the field.
