Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, conduct, and customize national training schools, in-store workshops, and brand accreditation programmes, ensuring alignment to the National Curriculum and relevance to the South African market.
- Deliver training with a strong focus on selling skills, brand standards, and customer experience, dedicating approximately 40% to in-store coaching and 60% to training schools.
- Plan and manage the National Training Calendar, liaise with retailers on training schedules, and support onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Conduct assessments, audits, and follow-up coaching to measure learning retention, compliance, and service standards.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and development to Counter/Store Managers and consultant teams, including performance feedback, problem-solving, and support with staffing matters.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Promotion, and Education Manager to support events, launches, promotional activities, and ensure availability of training materials.
- Maintain and manage training resources, manuals, brand systems (e.g., client registry), counter hygiene tools, and uniform requirements.
- Resolve in-store customer complaints related to staff and brand standards.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on training activities, team productivity, turnover, issues, and recommendations.
- Assist with consumer events, ensure adherence to budgets, company policies, and uphold brand equity and training objectives nationally.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a Training/ Facilitating/ Coaching role
- Experience with prestige cosmetics an advantage
- Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Mobility to travel extensively throughout South Africa
- Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal
- Creative/innovative thinking.
- The ability to handle a multitude of tasks, projects and issues at one time.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels within an organization
- Organised and detail orientated.
- Self-motivation; High energy level; the ability to work independently.
