The Finance Director, SEA4 (Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines) will play the role of a strategic finance partner and advises the leadership on overall financial performance of the affiliate, develop business strategies and recommend all necessary actions to improve financial performance, business efficiency and minimize risk and exposure. The successful incumbent will manages the financial functions, including legal matters, of the affiliate in accordance with the strategies and goals set forth by General Manager as well as by Global and/or Regional Finance, while also supporting Brand General Managers and Functional Directors in the affiliate in carrying out financial reviews and analysis of their business. This role is responsible for the exchange of information in relation to financial matters including budgets, accounting, and statistical data.
What You Will Achieve
- Establish key controls and business processes to ensure all commercial activities current or future are in full compliance with company’s policies & SOX compliance.
- Ensure the commercial leads fully understand the policies and map out the end-to-end business processes necessary for the teams to execute the underlying business transactions with customers & 3rd party vendors.
- Act as a business partner and key person to enable sound business process are operating effectively and to act as change champion when requires.
- Work very closely with the mid (Hub) & back (outsourced 3rd party) offices supporting F&A to execute the accounting procedures leading to proper management financial reporting, statutory & tax reporting. Act as problems solver when they came from the mid/back offices and engage with business teams.
- Work together with regional teams in SC, IT, Retail, Finance, Controllership , IP, Legal etc.

Qualifications
What You Will Need
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent, with a strong foundation in accounting and a deep commitment to financial integrity.
- Proven track record in multinational corporations (MNCs) and consumer retail brands.
- Ability to navigate and thrive within complex, multi-tiered structures involving multiple affiliates in a regionally and globally driven environment.
- Exceptional skills in building and maintaining robust business processes, with a strategic mindset to align upstream planning with downstream execution teams.
- Highly independent, demonstrating strong business acumen and a rigorous control and governance orientation.
