A Retail Manager oversees the store’s daily operations by ensuring smooth functioning, proper maintenance, and consistent adherence to company policies. The role is accountable for strict inventory and cash controls, maintaining accurate stock levels, and managing merchandise orders to ensure continuous product availability. Additionally, the Retail Manager is responsible for completing all daily operational paperwork—such as sales reporting, and inventory documentation—with precision and compliance, supporting both operational efficiency and overall store performance. 

 

What You Will Achieve

  • Ensures all products and brand displays adhere to established merchandising standards, maintaining a consistent and attractive in‑store presentation.
  • Enforces brand‑specific purchasing guidelines to support accurate and efficient stock management. Upholds the brand image at all times through high standards of employee presentation and visually compelling product merchandising.
  • Oversees staff scheduling, including the training and preparation of work rosters to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Manages and coordinates all merchandise receiving procedures, including documentation of damages, discrepancies, and necessary adjustments.
  • Ensures all Point‑of‑Sale (POS) and Back Office transactions are executed in full compliance with required procedures and system guidelines.
  • Handles customer inquiries professionally and courteously, providing solutions that enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Motivates, develops, and guides employees to foster strong morale, positive work ethics, and high performance across the team.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a capacity of a supervisor and above with team management experience.
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in social selling techniques, including social media posting, virtual consultations, and live streaming.
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
