Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Estée Lauder Travel Retail for a Brand Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Director. The role is based in our London office, with a hybrid working model (3 days in-office).
Travel Retail, one of The Estée Lauder Companies' highest growth channels, covers the world of duty-free environments including airports, airlines, cruises, downtown locations and border shops.
The position will crucially lead the demand and integrated business planning for the Fragrance cluster across Travel Retail East and West, ensuring accurate forecasts and alignment with business goals. Act as a key liaison between regional teams, brands, and supply chain functions to drive operational excellence. Oversee forecast inputs, reconciliation with financial targets, and coordination with operations teams. Manage integration of newly acquired brands into planning processes.
Key Responsibilities include:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across demand planning and IBP functions.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the team and regularly review performance, providing feedback and coaching.
- Foster a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the team in delivering accurate forecasts across all brands, ensuring alignment with affiliate Brand and Finance teams.
- Champion best-in-class forecasting practices and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key KPIs and respond to forecast adjustments impacting production, inventory, and costs.
- Align with global supply teams on constraints and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Brand teams to develop forecasts for new products and promotional events.
Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Lead the Fragrance Cluster IBP process, ensuring cross-functional alignment between demand, supply, finance, and marketing.
- Guide the team in preparing for and leading regional IBP meetings, bringing together senior stakeholders to resolve conflicts and align on key business priorities.
- Ensure the timely identification and resolution of risks and opportunities within the IBP process.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Drive stakeholder alignment by presenting clear, integrated business cases.
- Act as the key TR liaison with global supply chain teams and represent TR in Global Brand SIOPs, including VP-level presentations.
- Collaborate with regional commercial and brand leaders to refine forecasts, ensuring cross-functional alignment across commercial, supply chain, and financial goals.
- Build strong relationships across brands, functions, and regions.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Drive the team to meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Lead initiatives to enhance demand planning and IBP processes, including the implementation of new tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Systems & Tools Management
- Lead the use of demand planning and IBP tools, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
- Maintain regular updates on forecasting technologies to identify improvement opportunities.
- Deliver key reports, including TR SIOP materials for senior leadership. Ensure regional compliance with global systems and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in demand planning, E2E Planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of demand planning and IBP processes, best practices, and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization
- Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, APO, o9 etc.) and data analytics tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
