Description
As the Paid Media Manager, La Mer, Origins, Dr Jart you'll be responsible for developing and executing the paid media strategy across all relevant media platforms to drive brand equity, awareness, engagement, and sales. This role focuses on optimising paid media campaigns through data-driven insights, performance analysis, and close collaboration with the media agency to ensure the efficient use of the advertising budget. You will oversee all paid media activities, including traditional media, paid social, display, search, and video advertising, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives and contributing to the overall growth of the brand.
Responsibilities:
Paid Media Strategy & Execution (40%)
• Develop and implement the paid media strategy to drive brand visibility, engagement, and conversions across digital platforms.
• Lead the planning and execution of paid social, search, display, and video advertising campaigns in collaboration with the media agency.
• Ensure campaigns align with the overall brand strategy, maximising return on ad spend (ROAS) and driving both short-term sales and long-term brand equity.
• Use data and analytics to continually optimise campaigns, adjusting targeting, creative assets, and bids to improve performance.
Campaign Management & Optimisation (30%)
• Lead the execution of key paid media campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor and adjust campaigns throughout their lifecycle to maximise impact, ensuring the best use of budget and resources.
• Analyse campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and other media tracking platforms to ensure optimal ROI and campaign effectiveness.
• Provide regular reporting on campaign performance to senior management, sharing insights and recommendations for future strategies.
Creative & Content Collaboration (20%)
• Work closely with internal teams, including creative, social, and product marketing, to ensure paid media content is on-brand, engaging, and optimised for each platform.
• Collaborate with external agencies to develop, test, and refine creative assets for digital campaigns.
• Ensure that paid content is aligned with brand messaging and tailored to resonate with the target audience across different touchpoints (social, search, display).
Agency Management & Budget Oversight (10%)
• Act as the primary point of contact for the media agency, ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently and optimised for performance.
• Manage the paid media budget, ensuring campaigns are running within the agreed financial framework and delivering strong results.
• Track and report on budget utilisation, providing recommendations for reallocating funds to maximise the impact of high-performing campaigns.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in managing paid media campaigns across all media platforms, including traditional media, paid social, search, display, and video.
• Strong knowledge of all media channels and tools, including Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and media tracking platforms.
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance metrics and optimise campaigns for better results.
• Experience working with media agencies and managing relationships to ensure campaign success.
• Creative and strategic thinker with an ability to collaborate across teams to develop engaging media content.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present campaign insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in paid media or a related field, ideally within the beauty or luxury sectors.
• Experience working with media agencies and leading cross-functional teams on paid media campaigns.
• Strong understanding of paid media strategy and tools, including performance analysis and reporting.
• A background in marketing, digital media, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Google Analytics, and other media tracking software.
