Description
Executive Director, Data & AI — Content Automation
We're looking for a technical product and data leader to drive the AI infrastructure that powers intelligent content generation and creative automation across our digital and marketing organization.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, AI/ML product strategy, and marketing technology. You'll be responsible for standing up the data pipelines, model integrations, and feedback loops that enable scalable, brand-safe content production at speed — from brief to asset, across every channel.
What you'll do:
Work cross-functionally to deliver the data products that make AI-generated content actually work — including product and catalog data, customer analytics, content performance signals, asset libraries, taxonomy and metadata, and channel-specific format requirements. You'll define how these inputs are structured, connected, and continuously improved so that AI models produce outputs that are accurate, on-brand, and high-performing.
Who you are:
A builder who understands that the AI is only as good as the data underneath it. You're equally comfortable in a technical architecture conversation and a senior marketing presentation. You've led cross-functional teams, worked closely with engineers and data scientists, and know how to translate complex data infrastructure into business outcomes that marketers actually care about.
The role requires a blend of product leadership, deep understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce ecosystems, and strong technical fluency across consumer data, marketing technology platforms, and AI solutions — including generative AI, predictive analytics, and marketing intelligence.
Long Description
Strategic Leadership & Partnership
- Define and lead the product vision and roadmap for Data & AI across content intelligence, creative automation, and AI-powered marketing workflows.
- Serve as the connective tissue between marketing strategy and the data infrastructure that makes it executable — translating brand and commerce priorities into clear OKRs, adoption targets, and measurable outcomes tied to revenue, engagement, and efficiency.
- Maintain deep expertise across the full stack: marketing data platforms, CDPs, and identity infrastructure; generative AI for content personalization, campaign execution, and consumer interaction; and the automation and orchestration layers that connect them.
Product Portfolio & Delivery
- Drive the data products and AI capabilities that power creative and pre-activation marketing at scale — including generative AI for concepting, asset variation, copy generation, localization, and production acceleration; content performance analytics that reveal what creative elements resonate, with whom, and when; and creative workflow analytics that drive efficiency, asset reuse, and cycle-time reduction.
- Manage global product roadmaps with a sharp prioritization lens on creative and brand impact. Lead a team of Product Managers and partner closely with Data Science and Engineering to ship scalable, production-grade AI products. Establish KPIs that matter: creative effectiveness, content ROI, cost savings, asset reuse, and brand equity lift.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership
- Lead Data & AI conversations within CDMO org and partner with marketing, brands, creative teams, vendor partners, and other critical stakeholders
- Build adoption programs that help marketers and creatives use AI as a genuine partner in ideation, design, and storytelling — not just a production shortcut. Ensure all creative AI deployments meet brand safety, copyright and IP, and responsible AI standards.
Governance & Performance
- Ensure creative and marketing AI products operate within brand governance, legal, privacy, and responsible AI guardrails.
Qualifications
-
10-12+ years of experience spanning data, AI, product management, and enterprise technology leadership, with a track record of scaling high-performing teams.
-
Proven ability to drive measurable business and marketing outcomes through data products, AI capabilities, and analytics platforms.
-
Experience delivering data and AI solutions at global scale across multi-brand and multi-market environments.
-
Deep familiarity with digital marketing technology ecosystems, including DAMs, PIMs, creative workflow platforms, content taxonomies, and marketing data infrastructure.
-
Demonstrated success designing and implementing workflow automation and intelligent process optimization across marketing and digital functions.
