Description

The Senior Production Artist is a technical leader within Global R&D Artwork Operations, responsible for designing, building, and validating, automated artwork and packaging solutions that accelerate the end‑to‑end artwork development process. This role serves as the department’s subject matter expert on automation technologies—particularly automated artwork template development and system integrations—to enhance speed‑to‑market, reduce operational costs, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen business continuity. This position plays a critical role in ELC’s digital transformation by driving template automation at scale, reducing reliance on external contractors, and enabling operational agility across ~20 global brands.

  • Design, develop, implement, and validate automated artwork templates that support global packaging artwork needs.
  • Build reusable automation components that enable significant reductions in manual artwork execution time.
  • Ensure automated templates meet regulatory, brand, and technical requirements across multiple product categories and markets.
  • Partner with artwork, regulatory, and system teams to ensure seamless integration of templates into operational workflows.
  • Analyze and report performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and automation expansion. Support robust reporting capabilities.
  • Serve as the department’s automation expert and consultant for new use cases, troubleshooting, and solution design.
  • Train, mentor, and upskill internal team members in template-building, full and semi-automated production.
  • Document automation logic, workflows, and best practices to ensure continuity and scalability.
  • Collaborate with leadership and global partners to identify opportunities to scale automation across brands and markets.
  • Maintain ongoing refinement of the automation system to align with emerging business needs and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • University Degree Required
  • Minimum 4 years experience
  • Expertise in Daena automated artwork template creation and workflow automation.
  • Experience with artwork management systems, and digital production tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building measurable, repeatable efficiency improvements.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), cosmetics, or tightly regulated industries.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance requirements related to packaging artwork.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical projects.
  • Strong communication, training, and documentation skills.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional partners and build trusted relationships.
  • Act as a proactive steward of the automation ecosystem, ensuring continuous improvement.

 Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $139,600.00Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
