Description

Management of key RDS functionalities to ensure global compliance of ELC ingredients, formulas, and products. Takes part in enhancing formula regulatory review and ILN policies and SOPs supporting the GPS function independently and with little supervision. Reviews existing and new formulas for global regulatory compliance. This entails ensuring compliance of Raw Materials, components and sub-formulas working in collaboration with cross-functional partners: Global Product Registration, RMM, Artwork and R&D teams. Communicates and ensures execution of changes, if any, to team and management. Monitors formula changes, assessing regulatory impact on ELC ingredient labels and registration against Global Regulatory requirements.  Escalates challenges and concerns

Regulatory & Product Integrity: 80%
•    Responsible for liaising with other ELC R&D Groups to obtain technical data on formulas with a vision to ensure compliance across ELCs Global markets
•    Develop and understanding of how ELCs technical systems and data structures interrelate in the scope of the regulatory space
•    Initiates new regulatory review and create new ingredient label in accordance with policies / SOPs as adopted by ELC
•    Review and approve finished product formulations for compliance against appropriate Global cosmetic regulations 
•    Oversees changes/corrections to regulatory reviews/ILNs in support of change management, continuous improvement, and business continuity
•    Understand ELCs comprehensive RACs
•    Establish PAOs and set appropriate OTC flags in the systems
•    Uses independent judgment when reviewing technical information based on established regulatory, safety and corporate practices; seek clarification when encountering a concern for the first time
•    Collects and inputs information into appropriate reports, charts, spread sheets and provides weekly reviews for management

•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Legal, Marketing, BVC and Supply Chain to support regulatory strategies and product development
•    Provide regulatory guidance during product development and post-market phases
•    Actively engage in community of practice sessions with leadership and peers to advance personal expertise and team growth

•    Support Global registration requirements 
•    Maintains understanding of global cosmetic/OTC/RDP regulations, as they relate to ingredients and finished formulas/products
•    Gains working knowledge of safety, claims support and regulatory as part of the global regulatory team

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with focus on life sciences
Minimum 2 years of experience 
Less than 5% travel 
•    Project management and multi-tasking skills. 
•    Organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
•    Prioritization and time management skills.
•    Team player with groups both inside and outside of the organization.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Basic knowledge of chemistry and broad cosmetic/drug regulatory experience preferred.
•    Fully proficient and experienced with Windows Office, Excel and Outlook and computer applications. 

 Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $80,000.00Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
