Description
Oversee the development and execution of key brand initiatives in partnership with Global teams with the goal to drive sustainable profitable growth and build brand equity. Ensure excellence in execution in all markets, considering local specifics and work extremely closely with all Regional teams.
Acts as voice of the regions to the Global Jo Malone London Townhouse and infuse Brand voice to regions, represent Global Brand. Supports regions and champions successful ideas and incorporate into Global programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate as a key interface with Regional teams and single point of contact for ad hoc regional requests and business development opportunities.
 
Partner closely with Regional teams on:
- (1) Identifying locally relevant product & program opportunities, and address any go⁃to⁃market gaps/white space opportunities
 - (2) Marketing calendars: Develop Regional calendars in alignment with Global calendar, while staying locally relevant, and maximizing business opportunities to ensure Regional targets / business goals are met
 - (3) Regional projects: Lead key projects holistically while collaborating with Global teams on specific functional areas ( CE, Events, Comms etc.)
 
Drive collaboration with Global Teams on:
- (1) Global Marketing: Ensure marketing efforts are in alignment with Regional business objectives/needs, with a special focus on: China / Gravity / Priority Markets & Channels / HTMs.
 - (2) Creative: Partner with Creative team to ensure regional go⁃to⁃market needs are incorporated in all key creative briefs/initiatives and delivered successfully to regional expectations.
 - (3) Consumer Engagement & Retail Experience: Work closely with the CE and RE teams to incorporate regional perspective into top campaigns and Go⁃To⁃Market decks for regionally relevant campaigns and new store openings/renovation projects.
 - (4) Review and prioritize regional requests based on alignment to brand strategy and size of prize, while ensuring strong alignment with Global teams and clear next steps/owners/timeline.
 - (5) Track & follow up to ensure smooth implementation and regional needs are fully addressed.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide business insight into sizing Global opportunities and Regional specific initiatives. Ensure market categorisation is considered in a modular approach for all Global initiatives. Partner with Global Marketing on program reviews, asset creation review, deliverables & timelines.
 - Drive development and implementation of JML key strategic initiatives, priority projects and brand reviews and ensure follow up on action tracker. Help set priorities and cascade learnings to Global functions and follow up all action points.
 - Lead Global/partner on Regional Roundtable meetings, create agenda, participant list, liaise with Global teams on presentation content, issue minutes and follow up on action plan.
 - Coordinate mitigation & opportunistic commercial tactics for the Brand to further drive sales. Review regional commercial plans.
 - Partner with ED, International to prepare agenda and presentations for retailer meetings, host the meetings or attend in London if needed.
 - Lead creation of key presentations for the department and coordinate new international team members orientations and all affiliate visitors.
 
Qualifications
- 5+ years of marketing and project management experience
 - Undergraduate degree
 - Experience working abroad or with Regions
 - Experience working in a retail brand, with an understanding of luxury brand equity
 - Demonstrate a well⁃balanced creative and commercial mind⁃set, displaying a strong strategic marketing approach both from a Global and Regional marketing aspect
 - Be naturally curious with a strong sensibility for the consumer, cultural diversity and trends with exceptional analytical skills to identify and unlock insight⁃driven creativity and regional opportunities
 - Team player with ability to interface with many departments, displaying effective communication and influencing skills
 - Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects with a high level of and excellent attention to detail
