Description
Located in Paris, the business development assistant is responsible to support the Fragrance Portfolio Business Development Manager and the respective Brand Directors, to drive the execution of the distribution strategy of our fragrance brands (Tom Ford Beauty, Jo Malone London, Kilian Paris, Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, Aramis and Balmain) across EUEM affiliates.
This involves:
Analyzing the performance of our brands and sharing results through a monthly Retail Sales report (across brands, channels, markets, and productivity at door level)
Supporting approval & following-up execution of new distribution opportunities to accelerate the development of the fragrance portfolio, in partnership with key internal stakeholders (Brands, Finance, RDDC, Affiliates…)
Monitor yearly capex spend, by following-up with affiliates on capex investment throughout the year
Drive competitive intelligence analysis, focusing on topics such as market share evolution and distribution expansion
Support on the preparation of presentations and meetings to update both Fragrance teams and Top management teams on the portfolio achievements, market’s context, and brands’ strategy
Key responsibilities & tasks:
Review performance of retail sales on a monthly basis & provide insights and recommendations
Analyze market share evolution and monitor competitor’s activity on the fragrance category such as distribution expansion, trade activation, events and new launches
Monitor execution of Capex investment as per plan, in partnership with Finance & Affiliates
Prepare analysis & content for presentations to Senior Management
Qualifications
University Master’s degree
Prior experience in business analytics
Strong analytical skills – understanding of key business management KPIs and metrics
Superior written and presentation skills
Advance proficiency level in the following areas: Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to play a key and influential role working with others, in groups, in cross-functional settings and with diverse stakeholders
Willingness to lead, test, learn and great attention to details
