Description of the brand and the team:
This internship gives the candidate the opportunity to work on the launch of Balmain Beauty in EMEA, learn about the luxury and beauty industry, and work with a multicultural and multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

Product Marketing Support
- Product category coordination: supporting the Product Marketing Manager on assortment (product and testers), launch guidelines, delivery of lab samples and shipments to affiliates.
- Coordinate market sample process at regional level, supporting product delivery and coordinating needs between affiliates and Global supply teams.
- Conduct deep dive analysis on competitive launches, products or subcategories in Fragrance, to identify opportunities and provide relevant insights.
- In-store execution check (store visits) for both Balmain and competitors.
- Participate and help develop presentations for regional meetings with brand teams and/or retailers.
- Direct contact with local teams in EMEA affiliates to provide support for product marketing-related queries.

Reporting
- Create a launch report template: consolidate brand launch performance reports from affiliates and provide insights.
- Create a monthly retail sales tracker: consolidate sell-out by affiliate and provide insights.
- Monthly NPD market analysis: review Balmain brand and product performance, conduct competitive analysis, review category trends and evolution, and identify areas of growth.

Profile

Minimum Education Level:
- Higher Education (Bac+5, from a business school or university)

Minimum Years and Area of Experience:
- At least 2 internship experiences
- Interest in the cosmetics sector and sensitivity to the luxury industry
- Previous relevant marketing experience

Required Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English (language of work) and ability to speak French
- Another European language is a plus

Additional Job Specifications:
- Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills (Microsoft 365 Office programs, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Panel Data tools such as NPD is ideal but not mandatory)
