Description
The Assistant Manager, Account Management helps drive sales and profitability through the execution of daily operations based on the programming needs for assigned accounts. This position reports directly to the Director, Account Lead and works closely with them to execute the strategic vision for the respective accounts. The Associate will serve as an additional point of contact for assigned retailers; communicating and coordinating retailer needs with various cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
This person must have exemplary relationship management skills and will support all areas of the brand business across assigned accounts, ensuring flawless operations across business channels.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales results and distribute a summary of findings.
- Partner with Planning team to execute and recap all retailer promotions, completing any recaps and summarizing results as needed.
- Partner with Retailer.com and Account Leads to strategically program and execute retailer GWPs and sampling to drive new customer acquisition and return to brand.
- Partner with Planning to ensure all item setup for NPL is completed in a timely fashion.
- Work with retailer partners to execute seasonal programming, including seasonal updates, secondary placements, events, promotions and more.
- Monitor competitive core and new launch programming to understand appropriate programing strategies.
- Collaborate with Field Team and Event Manager on developing tools for in-store events and activations.
- Coordinate with Event Manager and Account Lead to execute door level eventing strategies.
- Assist in scheduling all Seasonal Market and Post Market Meetings and manage subsequent Action Registries by account.
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of related experience preferably in Beauty, Consumer Packaged Goods, and/or Retail.
• Strategic mindset with excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexible and able to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong relationship builder. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across cross functional teams.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
