Assistant Manager, Retail Media

 

What You’ll Do: The Assistant Manager, Retail Media will support the North America region and play an important role in accelerating our online business.  This individual will join a team of hands-on growth marketers transforming our Retailer.com business by developing new, critical marketing capabilities for ELC.  The Assistant Manager will be responsible for actively monitoring media campaign results and partnering with teams to implement in-flight optimizations. She/He will be responsible for aggregating and analyzing retail media network campaign results across multiple brands and retailers to inform insights and drive strategic recommendations. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for aligning media campaigns with portfolio and brand objectives established by leadership and brand stakeholders across key retailers and brands
  • Monitor live paid media campaigns across retailers utilizing various report formats to ensure delivery and communicate any concerns or optimization recommendations
  • Maintain and optimize retail media performance dashboards across key retailers to support Retailer.com KPIs and inform actionable insights
  • Identify trends and opportunities to optimize our investments by analyzing campaign data over time
  • Analyze retail media network campaign results, evaluate performance based on key performance indicators, and develop actionable insights

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of work experience in performance marketing within retail media or CPG with a focus on digital campaign performance analysis and insight development
  • Strong understanding of the retail media landscape, particularly in beauty and prestige retail, including platforms such as Macy’s Media Network (MMN), Ulta Beauty Media (UBM), Nordstrom Media Network (NMN)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with focus on data-driven communication
  • Understanding of tracking and attribution methodologies across retailers, as well as key retail media KPIs (ROAS, CTR, CVR, incremental sales, and new-to-brand metrics)
  • Proven ability to analyze and synthesize paid media performance across multiple retailers and ad formats (onsite display, sponsored products, video, CRM/email, social amplification) to generate actionable, data-backed recommendations
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work across cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization, with hands-on experience in Excel/Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning) and BI/reporting tools such as Looker

  • Understanding of internal reporting systems (e.g. Looker) and advanced Excel skills with ability to generate impactful reports
