Position Summary

The Associate, Global Communications, will support priority initiatives that shape and promote The Estée Lauder Companies' reputation for impact and its legacy of purpose-driven work, including the company's efforts to advance progress for women and girls globally. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling and strategy, helping translate that work into narratives that resonate across audiences. 

 

The Associate will support a broad portfolio of strategic communications and enterprise storytelling, with regular exposure to high-profile projects and cross-functional partners across the company.

 

This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to build depth across multiple communications disciplines, including content development, thought leadership, philanthropic communications, and event creation. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Communications & Storytelling 
    • Contribute to communications projects spanning corporate communications, executive communications, internal communications, and media relations. 
    • Support impact messaging that connects business and the company's purpose-driven initiatives 
  • Creating Communications Materials & Programs 
    • Draft and edit talking points, press materials, written and visual social content, briefing documents, presentations, and executive communications. 
    • Support planning and on-the-ground engagements and events  
  • Organizational Support and Project Management 
    • Support team operations by developing templates, trackers, and internal resources that improve team efficiency.
    • Manage timelines, deliverables, and coordination across multiple concurrent projects, keeping workstreams on track and flagging risks early. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in communications, journalism, or media relations 
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear communications. 
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting project needs. 
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for storytelling and content creation, with a strong appetite for consuming and understanding business, beauty, and social impact

 Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $66,300.00 to $96,050.00Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
