Dr.Jart+, a pioneering Korean skincare brand under The Estée Lauder Companies, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Marketing to lead our North America strategy. This position is responsible for overseeing the full 360° marketing strategy, inclusive of product marketing, consumer engagement, education, and brand event activations.
Reporting to the VP/GM, this role will drive the end-to-end marketing strategy for the brand within the region. The marketing director will own the innovation calendar and partnership with global to develop an industry leading portfolio to drive market share gain and retail sales growth. This position will also oversee all go-to-market strategies, champion digital innovation, and lead cross-functional campaigns to build brand equity and accelerate growth across all channels. The ideal candidate is a digitally native marketing leader with a deep understanding of omnichannel marketing, performance-driven platforms, and brand storytelling, particularly within the beauty or consumer goods sector.
Description
Strategic Brand Marketing & Campaign Development
- Lead end-to-end integrated marketing planning across new product launches, brand storytelling, and promotional campaigns
- Partner closely with global teams to adapt and localize marketing strategies for the North American market and achieve retail sales goals in the region.
- Own the full marketing calendar and ensure alignment across product, digital, education, and retail teams.
- Manage the advertising and promotions budget lines, partner with finance to manage monthly and quarterly accounting to maximize operating profit and deliver accurate estimates.
Product Marketing
- Lead product marketing team to develop a winning brand Portfolio Strategy for North America.
- Manage the brand marketing calendar in North America, balancing innovation alongside hero commercialization moments to achieve fiscal retail sales plan.
- Support the development of the long-range plan and identify category and hero SKU growth opportunities by helping to carry out the seasonal Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) process
- Direct discontinuation and line edit strategy and analysis of financial implication in collaboration with commercial and finance.
Consumer Engagement & Education
- Oversee the strategy and execution of consumer engagement programs, community building, and educational content to deepen brand connection.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across digital, social, and in-person activations.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years’ experience in Brand Marketing, Product Marketing and Consumer Engagement
- Passion for beauty industry and knowledge of consumer mindset in skincare/beauty
- Strong leadership experience, overseeing multiple team members; ability to motivate and develop top talent.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Position requires strong data analytical skills to draw insights and put into action; financial acumen and budget management skills a must.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills required.
- Minimal travel required to attend market meetings, store visits and activations.
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,550.00 to $208,200.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
