PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE:

REPORTS TO: Vice President, Creative Director

The Director, 360 Creative is responsible for developing and translating Too Faced’s global creative direction across campaign, digital, social, e-commerce, retail and other consumer touchpoints.
Working closely with the Vice President, Creative Director, this role leads creative development for the brand’s highest-priority A launches, establishes the overall campaign concept and 360 creative system, partners closely with the Director, Packaging Design from the earliest stages of product development, and leads the Senior Art Director and Senior Designer. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner closely with the Vice President, Creative Director to develop and extend global campaign concepts, launch stories and brand initiatives.
  • Lead creative development for the brand’s highest-priority A launches from concept through global 360 expression.
  • Establish the overarching creative concept, visual language and storytelling framework that guides campaign execution across launch tiers.
  • Translate overarching creative direction into cohesive 360 expression across campaign, digital, social, e-commerce, retail and regional applications.
  • Partner closely with the Director, Packaging Design from early product development through launch to ensure product, packaging, campaign and broader brand expression are connected.
  • Lead the development of key campaign imagery, graphic language, digital expression, retailer storytelling and consumer-facing creative for priority global launches.
  • Lead the development of global brand, campaign and launch presentations, retailer sell-in materials and creative guidelines.
  • Direct and mentor the Senior Art Director and Senior Designer, providing clear creative direction and feedback.
  • Provide creative direction and oversight for B and C launches led by the Senior Art Director.
  • Guide photography, video, content, design and other campaign execution across internal and external teams.
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising & Experiential and Copy to ensure cohesive visual, physical and verbal expression across launches.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Packaging Development, Social, E-commerce, Retail and Regional teams throughout the creative process.
  • Lead and creatively direct agencies, freelancers and specialist partners supporting high-volume execution, adaptation and production.
  • Review creative work throughout development and execution to maintain the approved global direction and Too Faced brand standards.
  • Establish clear creative systems and tools that enable regions and external partners to execute consistently.
  • Manage multiple global creative workstreams while partnering with Creative Operations on priorities, resourcing and external support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 10 years of integrated creative, art direction or design experience, preferably within beauty, fashion, luxury, retail or other highly visual consumer brands.
  • Experience working in both leading creative agencies and in-house brand environments strongly preferred.
  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Art Direction or related field.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinker with exceptional design vision and taste level.
  • Strong graphic design foundation with demonstrated ability to move between campaign development, art direction, design systems, presentations, digital, social and retail.
  • Proven experience developing integrated global campaigns and brand creative across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate a core creative idea into cohesive execution across photography, video, digital, social, e-commerce and retail.
  • Strong understanding of product storytelling and the relationship between packaging, campaign and broader consumer-facing creative.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with packaging creative teams throughout product and launch development.
  • Strong color-matching skills, with the ability to evaluate and match color across swatches, proofs, photography, digital and print applications, and final creative output.
  • Experience developing high-level brand presentations, campaign decks, launch materials and retailer-facing creative.
  • Strong knowledge of digital and social platforms and major beauty retail environments.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop creative talent across art direction and design.
  • Experience creatively directing agencies, freelancers and external creative partners.
  • Ability to work effectively across global and regional teams while maintaining a consistent global brand vision.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative vision and execution clearly across disciplines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and strong proficiency in Figma.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with generative AI tools and emerging creative technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Portfolio required. Candidates must provide relevant work samples demonstrating integrated campaign development, art direction, design systems, digital and social creative, retailer execution and the translation of a core creative idea across multiple channels and formats.

Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $124,200.00  to $214,450.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
