Front Desk / Client Experience Coordinator
SUMMARY
Performs hospitality desk duties to ensure efficient operation and delivery of exceptional client/guest service. The Front desk Coordinator is the first to be seen clients/guests entering the Salon, and are key in upholding the company standards for professionalism and service quality. Responsible for delivering the ‘Ideal Client Experience’ with high- touch service and excellence.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as first point of contact to greet Salons guests, respond to inquiries, schedule Salon services (both in person and/or over the phone) and perform related tasks ensuring high level of customer service and process efficiency.
- Perform general receptionist duties including answering incoming calls, responding to inquiries, taking messages or forwarding calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist in coordination of efforts between other departments: Reservations, Operations, Stylists etc.
- Responsible for point-of-sale transactions as applicable: processing payments and managing service/retail transactions.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all Salon operations and services as well as current and ongoing Salon marketing, promotions and programming activities.
- Monitor Front of House (desk and retails areas)organization, cleanliness, and stock purposes.
- Support re-stocking of Retail shop.
- Responsible for closing POS terminal and associated closing tasks such as cash drawer balancing and daily activity financial reporting (adhere to all cash handling policies).
- Responsible for re-stocking all unsold retail items left at the reception desk.
- Responsible for product knowledge and retail sales.
- Assist in closing product sales in order to reach weekly goal
- Cross-train in other operational areas within the Salon to provide backup coverage as needed.
- Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity and professionalism to internal and external clients/guests.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in Salon, Spa and/or Retail environments preferred.
- Background in Point of Sale systems preferred
- Experience in computer office systems as well as Salon Reservation systems preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Superior customer service skills
- Must be organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task in a high paced environment..
- Highly motivated, eager to learn and grow with the company.
- Articulate, self motivated, driven and goal oriented.

Pay Range:
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 to $22.00. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
