POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Global Media Partnerships will support ELC’s enterprise approach to Global Media Partnerships, with responsibility for governing assigned Global Joint Business Plan (JBP) workstreams and translating partner commitments into meaningful programs across Brands, Regions and Affiliates.

This role will independently lead assigned partnership and JBP workstreams, make decisions within its scope and drive alignment across ELC, WPP and media partners. The Manager will support annual JBP planning and biannual business reviews in partnership with the Global Media Strategy & Partnerships Lead and Senior Manager, Global Media Partnerships.

The role will work closely with WPP, Google, Meta, Pinterest and other strategic media partners, as well as ELC Brand teams, regional and affiliate media teams and cross-functional stakeholders. It will help design, coordinate and enable enterprise programs, while day-to-day campaign execution remains with Brand, Region and Affiliate media teams.

The successful candidate will bring relevant media planning and activation experience, strong project management capabilities, relationship-management expertise and the ability to operate effectively across a complex global organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Global Media Partnership and JBP Governance

  • Support the governance of ELC’s Global Media Partnerships and Global JBPs.
  • Own defined JBP workstreams, partner deliverables or strategic programs from planning through execution and closeout.
  • Independently manage assigned partnership activities, timelines, meetings, actions and follow-up across ELC, WPP and media partners.
  • Track JBP commitments, investment achievement, commercial benefits, media credits, strategic programs and partner deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate status reporting and identify risks, investment gaps and delivery issues in a timely manner.
  • Make decisions within assigned areas of responsibility and drive resolution of delivery issues.
  • Support annual JBP planning, including gathering inputs, coordinating materials and documenting priorities and commitments.
  • Support biannual JBP business reviews by preparing performance updates, program summaries, risks and recommended actions.
  • Help ensure partner commitments are translated into actionable programs for Brands, Regions and Affiliates.
  • Escalate broader strategic, commercial or organizational decisions with clear recommendations and supporting context.

Strategic Programming and Capability Building

  • Support the design and deployment of partner-led programming across Brands, Regions and Affiliates.
  • Lead defined partner education, insights sessions and capability-building initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain playbooks, activation guides, operating principles and other tools that support program adoption.
  • Coordinate with Brand and regional media teams to support implementation and capture feedback.
  • Track participation, adoption, milestones and outcomes for strategic programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program consistency, scalability and effectiveness.

Innovation and Pilot Enablement

  • Support the identification and evaluation of partner innovation opportunities aligned to ELC’s strategic priorities.
  • Lead assigned workstreams for approved pilots, including timelines, stakeholder inputs, documentation and implementation requirements.
  • Coordinate Vendor Risk Assessments, Privacy Assessments, pilot design, stakeholder alignment and implementation planning within assigned initiatives.
  • Work with stakeholders across Insights, Digital Commerce, Performance Marketing, Brands, Regions, Data, Technology and Analytics.
  • Ensure assigned pilots have clear objectives, participating markets or Brands, success criteria and documented learnings.
  • Support the translation of pilot results and Global Learning Agenda activity into recommendations, playbooks and future JBP priorities.
  • Manage coordination with WPP and media partners through launch, tracking and evaluation of approved opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Agency Partnership

  • Serve as a key connector between Global Growth Marketing & Media, WPP, media partners and ELC stakeholders for assigned initiatives.
  • Manage productive working relationships with assigned media partner contacts and WPP stakeholders.
  • Establish clear timelines, responsibilities, dependencies and follow-up across assigned initiatives.
  • Build effective working relationships with Brand teams, regional and affiliate media teams, Finance, Procurement, Privacy, Data, Technology and Analytics.
  • Facilitate meetings, working sessions and status updates to maintain alignment and momentum.
  • Hold partners and internal stakeholders accountable for agreed deliverables.
  • Make timely decisions within assigned areas of responsibility and drive resolution of delivery issues.
  • Surface risks, decision points and resource requirements to the Senior Manager and Global Media Strategy & Partnerships Lead.
  • Escalate broader strategic, commercial or organizational decisions with clear recommendations and supporting context.

Success Measures

Success will be measured through reliable delivery, partnership value creation and adoption of strategic programs, including:

  • Timely and accurate tracking of JBP investment, commitments, benefits, credits, incentives and program delivery.
  • Successful delivery of assigned JBP workstreams and partner commitments.
  • Effective utilization and deployment of JBP-funded programs, media credits and incentives.
  • Adoption and participation across partner-led education, playbooks, activation guides and capability-building initiatives.
  • Successful coordination, evaluation and documentation of assigned innovation pilots.
  • Clear, timely and actionable reporting of progress, risks, learnings and next steps.
  • Consistent and effective collaboration across ELC, WPP and media partner teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking a highly collaborative, positive and adaptable professional with a balanced combination of hands-on media expertise, cross-functional project management and relationship-management experience.

  • Approximately 5–7 years of relevant experience in media planning, activation, digital marketing, agency management or media partnerships.
  • Relevant hands-on experience in media planning and/or activation, ideally with global media partners such as Google, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok or comparable platforms.
  • Strong understanding of how media strategies translate into activation plans, market execution and business outcomes.
  • Experience managing projects or workstreams across internal teams, clients, agencies, external stakeholders and markets.
  • Ability to organize complex initiatives, manage timelines, track dependencies and drive follow-up.
  • Experience building productive relationships with clients, agencies, media platforms or other external partners.
  • Ability to influence without authority, collaborate across functions and operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Experience supporting business plans, partnership programs, commercial commitments, incentives or similar value-delivery frameworks is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting upfronts and/or JBP partnerships is a strong plus.
  • Experience coordinating Vendor Risk Assessments, Privacy Assessments, procurement reviews, technology reviews or other enterprise approval processes is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

 Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,550.00 to $143,800.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
