The Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness (OE) is a senior HR leader responsible for designing and executing enterprise-wide organizational strategies that drive business performance through greater efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. This role provides global leadership across organizational design, change management, and ways of working, ensuring alignment across multiple transformation and operating model initiatives.
This is a pragmatic, hands-on leadership role suited for someone who has led large-scale organizational transformations within complex, global organizations. The role will establish and lead the company’s strategic approach to organizational effectiveness, including frameworks, playbooks, and methodologies, while ensuring coordinated execution of critical initiatives in partnership with senior business and HR leaders.
Key Accountabilities
Enterprise Organizational Effectiveness Leadership
- Serve as the enterprise expert on organizational effectiveness, defining and driving the global OE strategy aligned with business priorities.
- Establish scalable frameworks, playbooks, and tools that support consistent organizational design and change practices across the enterprise.
Organizational Design & Operating Model Enablement
- Lead end-to-end organizational design efforts, including structure, governance, roles, decision rights, and ways of working.
- Partner with business and HR leaders to support multiple concurrent operating model and transformation initiatives while ensuring alignment and cohesion.
Change Management & Transformation Execution
- Design and lead change strategies for large-scale global transformations in a matrixed environment.
- Drive disciplined execution and adoption by actively partnering with leaders and teams to build capability and embed sustainable change.
Process & Ways of Working
- Improve clarity, simplicity, and effectiveness across critical people and business processes that impact organizational performance.
- Ensure processes support agile decision-making, accountability, and strong cross-team collaboration.
Global Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a global team of OE practitioners, enabling them to operate as trusted advisors capable of both strategic thinking and execution.
- Establish high standards for quality, rigor, and impact while evolving the OE operating model and delivery approach to meet changing business needs.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner closely with the Chief People Officer, HR leadership team, and business leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver OE initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders navigating complex organizational challenges and transformation efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred, with 15+ years of progressive experience including expertise in organizational design, change management, and enterprise transformation.
- Proven success leading complex, global transformation initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into practical organizational solutions and drive outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience developing frameworks, playbooks, and tools that enable scalable organizational effectiveness.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict management capabilities.
- Experienced leader who develops high-performing teams and operates effectively at both strategic and execution levels in fast-paced, complex environments.
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $228,250.00 to $388,550.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
