Description

This role will support the Estée Lauder brand global online business and will be responsible for supporting the development of our global campaigns, launches, and activations across Skincare, Makeup, Fragrance, Re-Nutriv, and Equity Moments. The Assistant Manager, Global Online Marketing will partner with global brand, creative, education, consumer marketing, and regional partners to support development of online marketing programs. He/She will manage asset requests and support the development of new site experiences. This includes but is not limited to: site assets and supporting copy, email marketing campaigns, and site experiences. He/She will maintain strong working relationships with Regional and Affiliate partners and Consumer Marketing partners. This person will adhere to best practices in leading, briefing, and overseeing the development of (assets, copy, product images) and ideating and developing marketing programs to improve KPIs.  This role reports directly to the Director, Global Online and partners closely with the Global Online Regionals and Affiliates, Global Consumer Marketing team, Creative, Production and the NA eCommerce team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the Brand’s Global Launch Calendars, including market-specific launches and programs across Skincare, Makeup, Fragrance, Re-Nutriv, and Equity Moments
  • Support the development of seasonal launches and the online Go To Market strategy and manage the development of global campaigns.  Strategize and map global PDP and PLP content to support five star launches and platforms, sharing out in Online Activation Guide Sharouts
  • Provide input into global asset lists and launch books.  Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure 360 alignment
  • Manage brand YouTube uploads to support campaigns and launches
  • Develop and lead seasonal asset tracker review with regions to ensure regional needs are met, supporting market-specific requests to drive the business
  • Manage Alt Asset briefing, development, tracking, and release of Global Online Alt Assets to support brand.com and retailer.com.  Manage alt asset extension needs. 
  • Build and Shareout the Global Asset Spreadsheet to support product photography and copy for new innovation, ensuring market OCDs are accurately reflected to support campaigns and launches
  • Manage updates and release of the Regional Variant Document to support global product assortment and ensure markets are leveraging accurate market variants on brand sites, retailer, and 3PP
  • Develop, own and manage Seasonal Product Audits to ensure markets have the necessary tools and resources to manage phase out and upgrades to support new innovation and marketing calendars
  • Support online guided selling tools by briefing, managing, and building content in the CMS, supporting regions in localization needs to maintain merchandising best practices
  • Manage creative requests and brief Online Creative. Partner with Online Creative throughout the asset development process to answer questions, review drafts, and ensure that assets are finalized in a timely manner
  • Maintain effective relationships with regional and affiliate teams to execute global brand and online strategies and all eCommerce activities
  • Support global online businesses by auditing content & merchandising best practices across global brand sites and identifying optimization opportunities

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience related online experience with an emphasis in prestige e-commerce.  College degree required.
  • Strong understanding of/interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, and beauty.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; Strong organizational skills; Pro-active problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with eCommerce tools, systems and reporting (e.g content and asset management systems, business reporting systems, Google Analytics, Jira, Confluence, Box) and ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Must be a brand advocate and team player.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), QA and QC of sites

Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,350.00  to $112,500.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
