Description
This role is critical in providing financial support for the LATAM (RTR) team, responsible for the execution of closing processes, financial reporting, and ad-hoc analysis. Demonstrating a ‘customer first’s attitude, the individual will partner with other functional areas to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial services. This includes the oversight of a Third-Party Provider in the completion of deliverables supporting several company codes and departments. The candidate will need to demonstrate a strong financial skillset to analyze complex business transactions and understand their impact on end financial statements. In partnership with RTR leadership, the individual will actively participate in identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve the overall service delivery model. Additionally, this manager position will support temporary other RTR areas within the OneSource organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of financial services, partnering with Third Party Provider in the execution of RTR processes for Latam & other departments, providing guidance and assistance for day-to-day financial closing and reporting activities such as journal entries, reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and recognize potential commercial reasons for outstanding issues
- Execution of complex financial processes in areas including but not limited to Intercompany Accounting, Financial Reporting and Consolidations, Corporate Accounting, and Fixed Assets
- Drive Process Transformation, working with various stakeholders to facilitate end-to-end process review and assessments, identifying opportunities to drive increased harmonization and standardization across brands, departments, and processes
- Foster an environment of integrity, monitoring adherence to applicable SOX and Operational controls, facilitating risk assessments & audit control testing
- Ensure creation of regular updates to appropriate process documentation to improve understanding and drive operational consistency
- Train and lead Senior Analysts, providing guidance and assistance to team members for day-to-day activities
- Participate in projects around process redesign, new brand integrations, and system implementations
- Ability to influence and align with multiple stakeholders: Brand, Controller, Internal Audit, Tax, Corporate.
- Engage in and suggest continuous process improvement ideas
- Ensure that all activities are performed as efficiently and effectively as possible
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SAP is a must
- Blackline Tool for Accounts Reconciliation Module – is a plus
- Experience with process improvements and automations to enhance efficiency
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written executive communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, managers, and stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills are required, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays, Power Query, etc. The role involves extensive work with large datasets, analysis, and financial reconciliations.
