Role Overview:

This role is critical in providing financial support for the Corporate Record to Report (RTR) team, responsible for the execution of closing processes, financial reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for Corporate Accounting and Consolidations.  Demonstrating a ‘customer first’ attitude, the individual will partner with other functional areas to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial services.  This includes the oversight of a Third-Party Provider in the completion of deliverables supporting several North American Corporate Accounting departments.  The candidate will need to demonstrate a strong financial skillset to analyze complex business transactions and understand their impact on financial statements.

 

Key roles & responsibilities: 

  • Support delivery of financial services, in the execution of RTR processes, providing guidance and assistance for day-to-day financial closing and reporting activities
  • Creation and Maintenance of Process Documentation
  • Provide insights into the stakeholders regarding performance, operations & other initiatives.
  • Support Process Transformation, working with various stakeholders to facilitate end-to-end process review and assessments, identifying opportunities to drive increased harmonization and standardization across brands, departments, and processes
  • Foster an environment of integrity, monitoring adherence to applicable SOX and Operational controls, facilitating risk assessments & audit control testing
  • Engage in and suggest continuous process improvement ideas
  • Responsible for the activities related to the Company's consolidated monthly and quarterly results including internal & external reporting such as: (i) Prepare, analyze and review the Global Results of Operations Profit & Loss Statement accounts to be presented monthly to the Global Controller, including related commentary, (ii) Prepare monthly Net Sales and Online Net Sales Flash as well as Monthly Estimate vs. Actual Summary (iii) assist in preparation and analytical review of various schedules included in the Quarterly Review book, (iv) Prepare relevant metric decks, and (v) provide customer service support and help with special projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance preferred
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years
  • Working knowledge in SAP
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills)
  • Strong analytical acumen evaluating alternatives reach conclusions for recommendation
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Independent self⁃starter with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Teamwork/Collaboration: working effectively with teams and work groups
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
