Responsible for end-to-end sourcing, cost management, and supplier partnership activities to support successful product launches. Drives strategic sourcing, negotiations, supplier performance, and risk management while ensuring alignment with Brand, Packaging, Value Chain, and GSM objectives. Optimizes total cost of ownership and strengthens operational and strategic execution.
SOURCING, NEGOTIATION & SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT (40%)
• Lead sourcing and execution for assigned launches.
• Align with cross-functional teams to identify suitable suppliers based on capability, cost, fit, and Design Direction.
• Partner with Packaging, Engineering, and GSM Category teams to define optimal supply base and RFQ strategy.
• Run RFQs, analyze proposals, and negotiate competitive total-cost solutions meeting quality, service, sustainability, and regionalization goals.
• Present sourcing recommendations and secure alignment from key stakeholders and GSM leadership.
• Ensure final agreements reflect lifecycle needs (MOQ, lead time, capacity, cost optimization).
• Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
• Resolve commercial issues related to quality or service.
• Support departmental initiatives and drive process improvements as SME.
COST MANAGEMENT & LAUNCH READINESS (40%)
• Own all cost elements from feasibility through final award.
• Validate cost accuracy, negotiate tooling costs, and manage related purchase orders.
• Establish pricing and standard costs aligned with Brand COGS targets; support post-launch cost maintenance.
• Confirm development timelines and supplier readiness with relevant partners.
• Provide launch data to BVC and prepare Authorizations to Buy and production risk assessments.
• Support pre-launch reviews (RFT, Technical Readiness).
• Participate in GSM and Brand forums to report progress and recommendations.
• Analyze monthly PPV, highlight risks, and align with Finance.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to support launch and cost objectives.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (20%)
• Identify and execute cost-improvement and value-optimization opportunities.
• Lead GSM Brand cost-savings projects and maintain accurate documentation.
• Prepare savings presentations with GSM Category and VRO teams to support efficiency and harmonization goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
6 to 10 year of experience needed
SAP Knowledge of P2P
Excellent interpersonal communication & negotiation skills
Computer knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.; fluidity to navigate new technology(e-sourcing)
Excellent data management and analytical skills
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated agility in problem solving and adaptation to change
