OpEx Intern

Description

The Estée Lauder Companies is currently recruiting for an OpEx, IE & Change Parts Intern to join our Operational Excellence team on a 13-month placement at Whitman Laboratories. As one of our key manufacturing sites, Whitman produces around one-fifth of Estée Lauder’s global sales output, offering an exciting environment to learn, contribute, and make an impact.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to operational excellence (OpEx), industrial engineering (IE), and new product change part development within a dynamic manufacturing setting. You’ll be part of a highly skilled and supportive team, gaining valuable experience in both day-to-day operations and longer-term improvement projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting production equipment validation (PQ) and assisting with the successful launch of new products.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on the assembly floor.
• Engaging in 3D design, testing, and printing to support change part development.
• Producing technical documentation and collaborating closely with engineers and technical operators.
• Coordinating with external vendors to help ensure that key project milestones and timelines are achieved.

Qualifications

Studying an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering or related subject and be on track to achieving a 2:1 standard or higher. (A Chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering degree is preferred).
