Shipping Co Ordinator (FTC)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Coordinator (9-month FTC) to support the smooth, timely and cost-effective movement of goods to and from global destinations.

This role is key to managing daily logistics activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting wider warehouse and inventory operations within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and monitor departmental KPIs on a daily basis.
• Process VL10B orders and manage air and sea shipments using VL06P.
• Allocate ad hoc requisitions and process REMs and back orders.
• Manage departmental inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses.
• Maintain material master data within SAP (MM02).
• Ensure CMAT is cleared within agreed timelines (48 hours).
• Coordinate global exports, including transport arrangements and accurate documentation.
• Monitor imports to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery, including customs documentation and compliance.
• Raise orders for warehouse works using the Whitman system.
• Support inventory investigations and stock-related queries.
• Collaborate with and support team members, including cross-training activities.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
• Good understanding of import and export procedures.
• Proficient in SAP and general computer systems.
• Able to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, with a sense of ownership and commitment to high standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of tariff codes is desirable.
