We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Coordinator (9-month FTC) to support the smooth, timely and cost-effective movement of goods to and from global destinations.
This role is key to managing daily logistics activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting wider warehouse and inventory operations within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and monitor departmental KPIs on a daily basis.
- Process VL10B orders and manage air and sea shipments using VL06P.
- Allocate ad hoc requisitions and process REMs and back orders.
- Manage departmental inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Maintain material master data within SAP (MM02).
- Ensure CMAT is cleared within agreed timelines (48 hours).
- Coordinate global exports, including transport arrangements and accurate documentation.
- Monitor imports to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery, including customs documentation and compliance.
- Raise orders for warehouse works using the Whitman system.
- Support inventory investigations and stock-related queries.
- Collaborate with and support team members, including cross-training activities.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Good understanding of import and export procedures.
- Proficient in SAP and general computer systems.
- Able to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, with a sense of ownership and commitment to high standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of tariff codes is desirable.
