Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director, you will be a key steward of our product assortment, responsible for ensuring it is optimized to meet business objectives and consumer needs. You will lead the freshness and excess inventory management process to maintain optimal stock levels. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will manage product forecasts and coordinate logistics to ensure timely product availability for all new launches and ongoing assortments.

Job Responsibilities

Product Management & Assortment Strategy (Saleables & Non-Saleables) (50%)

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute assortment strategies aligned with brand, category, and regional business objectives. Continuously evaluate opportunities for portfolio expansion, innovation, or simplification to enhance competitiveness.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead SKU rationalization and range reviews to maintain a competitive and profitable product portfolio.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales performance, consumer insights, and market trends to optimize product mix and lifecycle management. Prepare and present data-driven analysis, business cases, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Inventory & Supply: Drive freshness and excess inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize write-offs. Oversee product transitions and collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to ensure product availability. Follow up on product quality issues.
  • Channel Management: Maintain the assortment matrix to ensure the right products are available across all points of sale (POS) and support channel-specific and seasonal planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Global Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure seamless product launches and effective collaboration on assortment profitability, pricing, and margin performance.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with the Distribution Centre (Lachen) to monitor stock, track out-of-stock (OOS) situations, and facilitate communication with Commercial and Sales teams.
  • Non-Saleable Management: Support forecasting, managing, and reallocating non-saleable items (GWP, samples, collaterals) across regions.

Forecasting, Supply & Order Coordination (50%)

  • Demand Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and improve short- and long-term demand forecasts at the SKU level using a combination of historical data, market intelligence, and statistical models.
  • Accuracy & Analysis: Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, conducting root cause analysis for variances to enhance reliability. Track market trends and competitive activities to proactively anticipate demand shifts.
  • Supply Chain Alignment: Lead all forecast and supply-related calls with global teams, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial targets.
  • Inventory Health: Maintain healthy inventory levels by balancing service requirements with working capital and obsolescence risks.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting systems and processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: with Commercial team to evaluate the potential of TREX sets, working closely with Supply Chain to ensure the program is ready on time.
  • Support all company required systems/forms to manage forecasts e.g. Forecast Proposal, Qlikview

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and technical savvy
  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with statistical data analysis, Power BI, and SAP is advantageous
  • Ability to utilize the most effective visualization methods to convey data-driven stories
  • Understanding of the FMCG/Beauty industry is a plus
