Distribution & Logistics Coordinator

Description

The Distribution & Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of ANZ’s outsourced distribution in partnership with the 3PL provider.

This position is responsible for ensuring the timely approval of retailer returns and supporting the Distribution & Logistics Lead in overseeing the clearance and delivery of all inbound freight, helping to minimize financial impact on the brand’s P&L.

Key responsibilities but are not limited to:

• Support the Logistics and Inventory Manager.
• Data validation / review of operation request from 3PL (e.g write⁃off, in/outbound Logistics, month end transaction volume.
• Facilitate on/offline returns in cooperation with the order management and GCC team.
• Support monthly KPI review and meeting, process compliance, EHS follow up, etc.
• Coordinating with marketing teams/brands to identify and resolve any issues causing disruptions to the supply chain on advice from Inventory Manager.
• Assist Logistics Manager in overseeing clearance and delivery of all inbound freight.
• Embrace a diverse and multicultural team and develop a collaborative relationship with both ELC and 3PL.
• Monitor 3PL operations and report on any EHS incidents from 3PL through ELC standard reporting.
• Co⁃ordinate RA's from B2B's in conjunction with 3PL inbound team as well as Brands ELC.
• Update SAP arrival dates of all incoming freight where required.
• Assist Logistics Manager inarranging / confirming disposal of obsolete/damaged goods.
• Assist in VAS activities.
• Investigate return claims and report findings to ELC stakeholders.
• Responsible for indirect procurement for 3PL only.
• Update Scorecard for internal and regional meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Operations Research or related field   
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in distribution, inventory management and supply planning in the beauty / cosmetic industry   
• Knowledge of, and experience with supply planning and inventory management tools.   
• Intermediate level of Excel

Specific Skills & Capabilities:   

• Knowledge of the interactions and interplays between supply and demand in the executional (0-2 months) and operational (2-12 month) horizons, with focus on inventory management and supply planning   
• Highly analytical analyzes data and provides clear / fact-based.   
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.     
• Ability to build strong relationships and tactfully navigate multiple cross-functional, matrixed stakeholders   
• Excellent problem-solving skills and quick to react and respond to changes     
• Ability to work within and across a global, cross-functional team, collaborating with Planning, Supply Chain, and Commercial stakeholders
