About the Role
Lead strategic sourcing activities as a procurement leader, responsible for Affiliate and Manufacturing indirect procurement.

For important procurement contracts and multi-year long-term agreements, clarify the specifications and terms for the required goods and services, and select and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible conditions.
-
Drive execution and adoption of indirect best practices and deliver savings in line with the Global cost savings target.
Act as a strategic leader in procurement, ensuring cost optimization, risk management, and compliance, while coordinating with internal stakeholders (including with global and regional indirect category leads) and external stakeholders and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
Role & Responsibilities

Understanding Procurement Regulations, Policies, and Company Strategy

Understand internal procurement rules, approval workflows, and compliance requirements

Align sourcing activities with corporate policies, ESG goals, and risk management standards

Understand the company’s procurement strategy (e.g., centralization, consolidation, preferred vendors)
-
Clarify governance expectations (audits, documentation, costsaving definitions)
-
Current State Analysis (As-Is Analysis)

Collect and classify purchasing data (by category, vender, division) and analysis

Review existing contracts, price lists
-
Strategy Development
-
Identify opportunities to standardize requirements
-
Optimize supplier base (consolidation vs. diversification)

Analyze supply markets (competition, price trends, risks)

Internal CrossFunctional Requirement Alignment

Gather needs and mandatory requirements from internal stakeholders

Align cost expectations and service level agreements (SLA)

Assess operational and risk impacts of supplier changes

Supplier Information & Market Intelligence Gathering

Collect supplier profiles, capabilities, certifications, delivery footprint

Gather market data: price benchmarks, trends, innovations, risks

Identify emerging suppliers, alternative solutions, and substitutes

Selecting the Appropriate Sourcing Approach

RFI/RFQ/RFP execution based on validated market insights

Competitive bidding strategy (open, closed, multistage)

Define evaluation criteria with Total Cost of Ownership perspective

Comprehensive Evaluation and Finalist Selection

Evaluate based on cost, quality, SLA, operational capability, and risk

Conduct due diligence (on-site review, service verification)

Negotiate key contract terms (pricing, duration, penalty clauses, SLA/KPI)

Contract and Governance Setup

Prepare and negotiate the contract (pricing, SLA, penalties, confidentiality, renewal rules)
-
Define service levels (KPI, lead time, quality standards)
-
Agree on the transition plan for supplier handover
-
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
-
Conduct regular KPI/SLA reviews
-
Manage issues and drive continuous improvement (QCD/S)
-
Monitor cost, quality, and risk
-
Plan contract renewal, renegotiation, and the next sourcing cycle

Management of other procurement-related master data and PR approval processes.
