Description

  • Sourcing supplies that reflect the company aesthetic codes (industrial/minimal/wabi sabi /vegan).
  • Welcoming guests in our offices with utmost warmth, giving tours.
  • Receiving packages and messenger deliveries, organizing receiving area daily to avoid clutter.
  • Operating office equipment such as printers, phone systems, music systems
  • Ensuring the office is constantly clean and maintaining its appearance and image as well as managing the "vibe" meaning tending to the music, indoor plants and overall feng shui of the space.
  • Coordinating meetings with related departments and offices, arranging meetings and call as needed.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all design, remodeling, questions and concerns regarding the office/building.
  • Running errands as needed by the office, as per guidance of Global Manager and the assistant.
  • Maintaining our green life in office and working with our urban garden designer on roof to tend to and ultimately harvest vegetables, flowers and herbs, designed to be shared with eaten by the Le Labo Family.
  • Assisting our culture coordinator on internal events in order to grow the company wellness and cultural initiatives.
  • Coordinating collaborations and communication with cleaning company, snow removal service, IT and other vendors.

Qualifications

  • Open to diverse professional backgrounds and back stories, but preference is given to artists, craftspeople with a high degree of sensitivity or people who have worked in a brand atmosphere.
  • Exude passion for Le Labo and deeply appreciate and understand the Brand DNA, voice and visual rhetoric.
  • Possess a people⁃person spirit, even⁃tempered, driven by other people's wellness and comfort, friendly with the ability to be firm and maintain order in a sometimes chaotic, start⁃up like workplace.
  • Be a motivated "roll up your sleeves" self⁃starter, with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Ability to work with different departments and to approach projects in a multi⁃disciplinary fashion with the capacity for creative, spontaneous problem solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to capture the unique tone of voice and visual cues/codes of the Brand.
  • Warm and hospitable nature required.
  • Highly organized and able to manage systems (both physical and conceptual.
  • Meticulously clean with an impeccable eye for detail, the type of person who finds great pleasure in mass organization missions. (Note we do have a cleaning service that comes daily but this position will require you to get your hands dirty and tidy up.)
  • Interest in plants, flowers, food and the olfactive arts is a definite plus.
