In Switzerland, Estée Lauder has the main Supply Chain Hub for Travel Retail (TR) and EMEA. We are looking for a maternity coverage from December 2026 until August 2027.

Job Description

This role acts as the primary point of contact for master data processes, systems, governance activities, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination across Travel Retail. It requires SAP master data expertise, strong project management skills, process improvement capabilities, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders across business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly review and approval process for SOX-compliant customer master data controls to ensure adherence to internal governance and audit requirements.
  • Serve as the business owner and operational coordinator for the internal customer master data approval tool, supporting master data governance processes. Act as the point of contact for Travel Retail customer master data processes.
  • Lead onboarding and training activities for the organization's master data request platform.
  • Deliver training sessions for commercial team, provide guidance on master data processes and act as subject matter expert for process clarification.
  • Manage global data synchronization requirements and serve as the key interface between external customers, external IT service providers, and internal teams regarding product data exchange. Assess new retailer data requirements and support the resolution of GDSN-related issues.
  • Partner with business, IT, and data management teams to drive operational excellence. Identify inefficiencies and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Travel Retail material master data processes and governance activities, supporting business teams with issue resolution and collaborating with global data management teams on process changes.
  • Act as the point of contact and subject matter expert for assortment master data across the Travel Retail organization. Coordinate process knowledge across commercial, supply chain, finance, and IT teams, manage escalations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives

We look for some who brings:

  • Experience with SAP master data domains, including customer, material, and assortment master data.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and master data management processes.
  • Experience working with workflow tools and approval systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate activities across business functions, regions, and external service providers.
  • Ability to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and operational risks, and translate them into practical improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Self-driven and accountable, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to delivering results.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Knowledge of audit, compliance, and control environments is a plus.
  • Experience with GDSN or product data synchronization processes is a plus.
