Description
The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a Temporary Category Buyer to join our Global Packaging Procurement team for a 9-month contract. This role will provide critical support to the Dispensing Category, which manages global sourcing of pumps, droppers, airless systems, sprayers, and related packaging components across our prestige beauty brands. The role is based in the Global Packaging Procurement team in| Wollerau, Switzerland.
What You'll Do
- Support supplier pricing reviews and maintain accurate procurement data across SAP and sourcing systems.
- Analyze cost drivers, pricing trends, surcharges, commodity indices, and savings opportunities.
- Support supplier negotiations and track implementation of agreed commercial terms.
- Manage category reporting, savings trackers, dashboards, and budget analyses.
- Coordinate sourcing projects, supplier onboarding, RFQs, and regionalization initiatives.
- Support material optimization and supply resilience projects in partnership with Procurement, Packaging Development, Operations, and suppliers.
- Contribute to digital procurement initiatives, including the development of AI-enabled category tools and supplier databases.
- Prepare presentations, analyses, and recommendations to support procurement decision-making.
What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Packaging, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Finance, or Data Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with SAP; Power BI and sourcing tools are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills.
