Finance Manager

Description

The primary function of this position is to work with the Finance Director to ensure security of affiliate’s financial assets for Singapore Distribution Hub & Made in China (MIC) business. The role also need to support Singapore Hub & Pacific Design Center accounting, and controllership operations as well as collateral distribution to affiliates.

1. Accounting and bookkeeping of the SG Hub & MIC legal entity including month end closing, bank reconciliation, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
2. Tax compliance matters of the Hub including Corporate taxes, GST and transfer pricing
3. Controls and compliance over accounting transactions/internal policies and external regulations and standards
4. Internal and external audit incl. preparation of statutory accounts
5. Ensure that accounts payables are paid in a timely manner
6. Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations and account reconciliations are completed
7. Responsible for monthly close reports and consolidate and tracking Account Payable KPIs
8. Improvement of RTR and PTP processes incl. any UATs needed when systems are updated
9. Cashflow forecast and other global reporting matters incl. mfgr variance forecast etc
10. Ensure that inventory and fixed assets procedures for stock take are in place and in compliance with SOX
11. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
12. Responsible for monthly regional consolidation and inventory estimate
13. Manage outsourced functions (Genpact), Onesource team and professional service firm including auditor and tax advisory.

Qualifications

Education

• Minimum Bachelor of Degree holder in Accountancy, preferably a certified CPA.

Work Experience

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with background in accounting and audit. Previous Supply Chain Finance experience in MNC will be bonus.
